I read a lot about peoples' ideas for school change. The nature of our media and public discourse lead far too many to offer silver bullet solutions. There are no such things. Education needs a multitude of changes. The only way to tackle those is in a book...or two or ten. But every now and then I read something offering a single solution with some nuance and think, "Fine, if people want a single solution to start, let's do that.
